Palliyara Sreedharan is a famous writer from India. He writes mostly about mathematics. People call him the 'Mathemagician of Kerala' because his books are so popular. He writes in Malayalam, which is the language of Kerala.

He has written and published more than 150 books. This is a huge number for math books in Indian languages! He has also helped write textbooks for schools. These include books for the State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

Mr. Sreedharan used to be the director of the Science Park in Kannur. Since 2016, he has been the Director of the Kerala State Institute of Children's Literature. He has won many awards for his amazing work. One big award is from the Government of Kerala for his great contributions to children's literature.

He was born on January 17, 1950, in the Kannur district of Kerala state. He went to school in Muttannoor, Edayannur, and Koodali. He studied mathematics in college and also got a teaching degree. Mr. Sreedharan taught math at Government High School, Koodali, starting in 1972. Even though he started writing books in 1999, his first math book came out much earlier, in 1978.

Palliyara Sreedharan works hard to create math books in Malayalam. He doesn't just write about math. He tries to make math fun for everyone, especially for kids in school. He wants people to enjoy learning about numbers and shapes.
