Building History and Ownership
Over the years, the Pan American Life Building has changed owners. In December 2006, the Pan-American Life Insurance Company sold the building. They sold it to Equastone, a real estate company from California. The Hotel Intercontinental, which is connected to the building, was not included in this sale. The insurance company continued to own the hotel.
