Pandora Reef is a special place in Queensland, Australia. It is both a small, flat island and a fringing reef right next to it. A fringing reef is a coral reef that grows close to the coastline.
This beautiful reef is found in Halifax Bay. It is about 13 kilometers (8 miles) away from the Greater Palm group of islands. People have known about Pandora Reef for a long time. Its name goes back to at least the year 1889.
