Paolo Bonolis (born 14 June 1961) is a famous Italian television host. He started his TV career in 1981. His first show was 3, 2, 1... contatto!, a children's program on the Italian national TV channel Rai.

Paolo Bonolis is a well-known TV personality in Italy. He is famous for hosting many different types of shows. These include children's programs, game shows, and big prime-time entertainment shows. He often works with his friend and fellow entertainer, Luca Laurenti.
Early TV Career
In 1982, Paolo moved to another TV channel called Italia 1. There, he hosted Bim bum bam, which was also a popular show for kids. He continued hosting Bim Bum Bam until 1990. After that, he started hosting variety shows. Some of these shows were Urka!, Bulli & pupe, Non è la Rai, and Belli freschi.
Later, he went back to Rai. He hosted several popular evening shows. These included I cervelloni, Beato tra le donne, and the quiz show Luna park.
Success on Mediaset
In 1996, Paolo returned to Mediaset, another big Italian TV company. He had great success there. He hosted shows like Tira & molla. He also became very popular with prime-time shows such as Ciao Darwin and Chi ha incastrato Peter Pan?.
Around the same time, he also hosted Striscia la notizia on Canale 5. This was a satirical news program. He hosted it with his long-time friend and colleague, Luca Laurenti.
Return to Rai and Big Events
Paolo went back to Rai again in 2003. He presented Domenica in, a Sunday afternoon show. After that, he hosted Affari tuoi, which is the Italian version of the game show Deal or No Deal. This became one of Rai's most loved game shows.
In 2005, he hosted the Sanremo Music Festival 2005. This is Italy's most important music festival. He did such a great job that he was asked to host it again in 2009.
Later Shows and Film Debut
In the late 2000s, Paolo continued to host shows for Canale 5. These included Il senso della vita. He also brought back new versions of his successful shows Ciao Darwin and Chi ha incastrato Peter Pan?.
In 2006, Paolo also tried acting in movies. He appeared in the film Commediasexi.
