Park is a small, unincorporated community located in Richland Township, within Greene County, in the state of Indiana, United States. An "unincorporated community" means it's a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's governed by the county or township.
A Look Back: Park's History
Park was named after the Parker family. They were some of the first settlers to live in this area.
A post office opened in Park in 1866. This was an important place for people to send and receive mail. The post office served the community for many years. It finally closed down in 1908.
