Parsbit, also known as Prisbit, was an important Khazar noblewoman who lived in the 730s CE. The Khazars were a powerful group of people in Eastern Europe. In old Armenian writings, Parsbit is called "the mother of the khagan." A khagan was the ruler or king of the Khazars.

Parsbit's power was so great that she even led armies. This was very unusual for a woman at that time. For example, in the year 730, she commanded a military group that went to fight in Armenia. This shows just how much authority she had.

The fact that Parsbit held such a high position suggests she was seen as a very capable and strong leader herself.
