Patricia Elliott was born on July 21, 1938, in Gunnison, Colorado. Her parents were Clyde and Lavon Elliott. She graduated from South High School in Denver.
In 1960, Patricia finished her studies at the University of Colorado. She then went on to train at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. After her training, she worked at several famous theaters. These included the Cleveland Play House and the Guthrie Theater. She also performed at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., before moving to New York City.

Patricia Elliott had a long and successful career in acting. She worked in movies, television, and especially in live theatre.

Patricia Elliott started her film career in 1968. Her first movie was a science fiction film called The Green Slime. Later, she appeared in other films. These included Birch Interval in 1976 and the comedy-mystery Somebody Killed Her Husband in 1978. She also acted in Natural Enemies in 1979.

Patricia Elliott passed away in Manhattan on December 20, 2015. She was 77 years old. Reports stated that she died from leiomyosarcoma, which is a rare type of cancer.
