Patricia Quintana was born in Mexico. She became a specialist in Mexican regional cooking. She studied cooking in other countries like Canada, Switzerland, and France. After her studies, she came back to Mexico as a well-known chef.
Patricia learned and taught about old Mexican cooking styles. She also mixed them with classic cooking methods. From 2001 to 2013, she owned a restaurant called Izote in Mexico City. Later, she started a company that planned big parties and events.
She created her own brand of food products called "Gavilla." This brand now has about 16 different items. Patricia also designed the menus for Mexican airlines. This meant people flying could enjoy her delicious food.
Patricia appeared on many TV shows. She also wrote articles about food for newspapers and magazines. These were published both in Mexico and other countries.
She was the mother of Patricio Pasquel. Patricia passed away naturally at age 72 on November 26, 2018.
