Patricio de la Escosura Morrogh (born September 5, 1807 – died January 22, 1878) was an important Spanish figure. He was a politician, a journalist, a writer, and someone who wrote plays. He was part of a big art movement called the Romantic school.

Patricio de la Escosura had a family of talented people. His brother, Narciso de la Escosura, was also a journalist and playwright. His other brother, Luis de la Escosura y Morrogh, was an engineer. He was also a cousin to Francisco de la Escosura Hevia, who was a judge and writer.
