Pattenburg is a small, unincorporated community. It is located within Union Township. This area is part of Hunterdon County in the state of New Jersey.
The Norfolk Southern Railway has a train line called the Lehigh Line. This railway line runs right through Pattenburg. You can also find the south entrance to the Pattenburg Tunnel here. This tunnel was once part of the old Lehigh Valley Railroad.
