Patterson Park is a fun public park located in Fort Meade, Florida. It's a great place to visit! The park covers about 16.5-acre (67,000 m2) of land. Half of this area is made up of water.
The park sits about 148 feet (45 meters) above sea level. A long time ago, this land was actually an open-pit mine. This means people dug a big hole in the ground to get out minerals. After the mine closed, the area was changed into the beautiful park you see today.
