Paul Bassett is a well-known brand of coffee shops. These shops are named after Paul Bassett, an Australian barista who won the World Barista Championship. You can find Paul Bassett coffee shops in Japan and South Korea. Both countries use the same special logo for the brand.

Where Paul Bassett Coffee Shops Operate
Paul Bassett in Japan
The first Paul Bassett coffee shops in Japan opened in 2006. They are run by a company called Y's Table. As of 2017, there were two Paul Bassett stores in Japan. One was located in Shinjuku, and the other was in Shibuya.
Paul Bassett in South Korea
The first Paul Bassett coffee shop in South Korea opened in 2009. Initially, a company called Maeil Dairies operated these shops. In 2013, the coffee shop business became its own company, called M's Seed. This new company is still part of Maeil Dairies.
By 2017, the Paul Bassett chain had opened its 80th coffee shop in South Korea. Most of these stores are located in the Seoul Capital Area, which is a very busy part of the country.
