Paula Preradović (born October 12, 1887 – died May 25, 1951) was an important Austrian writer and poet. She is best known for writing the words to Austria's national anthem, "Land der Berge, Land am Strome".

Paula Preradović was the granddaughter of a famous poet and general named Petar Preradović. She was born in Vienna, Austria. When she was two years old, her family moved to Pula, a city in Istria. Later in her life, she also lived in Copenhagen, Denmark, before returning to Vienna. She married Ernst Molden, who was a journalist and diplomat. He also started an Austrian newspaper called Die Presse. Paula and Ernst had two sons: Otto Molden, who became a publicist, and Fritz Molden [de], who became a journalist.

In 1947, Paula Preradović wrote the lyrics for "Land der Berge, Land am Strome," which became the official national anthem of Austria. She passed away in Vienna in 1951 and is buried in the Zentralfriedhof cemetery.
