Paulina Gaitán Ruiz (born July 23, 1991) is a talented actress from Mexico. She has appeared in many Mexican movies and TV shows. Many people know her from the popular Netflix show Narcos. In the series, she played the wife of the famous Colombian figure, Pablo Escobar.

Early Life and Acting Career
Paulina Gaitán was born in Villahermosa, Mexico. She discovered her love for acting at a young age and started her career when she was only nine years old.
By age 12, she had a major role in the movie Innocent Voices. This film, directed by Luis Mandoki, tells a story about the civil war in El Salvador.
Famous Roles and Movies
A Journey in Sin Nombre
Paulina played the main female character, Sayra, in the movie Sin Nombre. In the film, Sayra's character travels from Honduras toward the United States with her family. Along the way, she meets a gang member named El Casper, played by actor Edgar Flores.
Other Important Films
In 2007, Paulina starred in the movie Trade with actor Kevin Kline. In this film, she played a girl who gets kidnapped. She also had a leading role as Sabina in the Mexican horror movie We Are What We Are in 2010. That same year, she appeared in a short film called En Tus Manos.
