Paulino Masip Roca (born May 11, 1899 – died September 21, 1963) was a talented writer from Spain. He wrote plays (a playwright), movie scripts (a screenwriter), and books (a novelist).
Paulino Masip had to leave Spain in 1939 because of the Spanish Civil War. He moved to Mexico, where he became a big part of the exciting time known as the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema. He wrote more than 50 movie scripts!
He is most famous for his book called El Diario de Hamlet Garcia. This novel tells a story that happens during the Spanish Civil War.
