Paulo Isidoro de Jesus (born on August 3, 1953), known simply as Paulo Isidoro, is a famous former Brazilian football player. He played as an attacking midfielder, which means he helped both defend and score goals for his team.
Paulo Isidoro was a very talented player. In 1981, he won a special award called the Bola de Ouro, which means "Golden Ball" in Portuguese. This award goes to the best player in the Brazilian league. He also played for the Brazilian national team 41 times between 1977 and 1983. He even played in the 1982 FIFA World Cup, which is one of the biggest football tournaments in the world! He came on as a substitute in four of Brazil's five matches during that World Cup.
