Pearl, Missouri facts for kids
Pearl is a small place in the northwest part of Greene County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it does not have its own local government, like a city or town. Instead, it is part of the larger county. Pearl is located along Missouri Route 123. It is about four miles northwest of the town of Willard. Another nearby place, Cave Spring, is about one mile to the east.
History of Pearl
Pearl has a history that goes back to the late 1800s. A post office was opened here in 1886. This post office helped people send and receive mail in the area. It stayed open for many years, until 1928. The community of Pearl was given its name after a local child.
