Pedro Ercílio Simon facts for kids
Pedro Ercílio Simon (9 September 1941 – 1 June 2020) was a Brazilian Roman Catholic archbishop. He was born in Ibiaçá, Rio Grande do Sul. He was bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Uruguaiana from 1995 to 1998. Simon then was coadjutor bishop, diocese bishop, and then archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Passo Fundo, Brazil from 1998 to 2012.
Simon died in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul on 1 June 2020, aged 78.
