Pedro de Noguera was a talented Spanish artist. He was born in Barcelona, Spain, around 1580. He became famous for creating beautiful sculptures and designing buildings. Pedro de Noguera learned his art skills in Seville, a city well-known for its artists.

In 1619, he moved to the Viceroyalty of Peru, which was a Spanish colony at the time. He mostly worked in Lima, the capital city. One of his most important projects was creating the choirstalls for the Cathedral of Lima. He worked on these detailed wooden seats with another artist named Martín Alonso de Mesa.
