How Fish Week Helps Pembrokeshire

In 2014, the festival brought about £2.7 million to Pembrokeshire! Around 150 local businesses took part, and about 32,000 people attended. It's a really important event for the county and helps many people.

  • In 2013, The Independent newspaper named it the Number 1 Best Food Festival.
  • Conde Nast Traveller also listed it as one of the UK’s best food festivals in 2013.
  • Visit Britain called it the Number 1 top food festival in the UK in 2011.

The festival also won the Gold Award in the Food Tourism Destination category at the True Taste Food and Drink Awards in 2009/2010. Plus, it received Pembrokeshire Tourism’s ‘Premier Event Award’ in 2009/2010.
