During Pembrokeshire Fish Week, there are more than 250 different events. Restaurants and pubs across the county offer special menus filled with delicious seafood. Pembrokeshire Fish Week has won many awards and is well-known. In 2013, The Independent newspaper named it the Number 1 Best Food Festival. Conde Nast Traveller also listed it as one of the UK’s best food festivals that same year. In 2011, Visit Britain called it the Number 1 food festival in the UK.
The festival also won the Gold Award in the Food Tourism Destination category at the True Taste Food and Drink Awards in 2009/2010. It also received Pembrokeshire Tourism’s ‘Premier Event Award’ in 2009/2010. These awards show how special and successful the festival is!
