Tetrapeptide structural formulae v.1
A tetrapeptide (example Val-Gly-Ser-Ala) with green marked amino end (L-Valine) and blue marked carboxyl end (L-Alanine).

Linking peptides together gives proteins, which are also known as Polypeptides.
