Perdita Rose Weeks (born 25 December 1985) is a British actress. She is well-known for playing Juliet Higgins in the TV show Magnum P.I.. This show was a new version of an older series.
About Perdita Weeks
Perdita Weeks was born in South Glamorgan, Wales. Her parents are Robin and Susan Weeks. She went to Roedean School in East Sussex. Later, she studied art history at the Courtauld Institute in London. Art history is the study of how art has changed over time. Perdita has two siblings who are also actors. Her older sister is Honeysuckle Weeks. Her older brother is Rollo Weeks.
Perdita's Acting Work
Perdita Weeks started acting when she was young. She has appeared in many TV shows and films.
One of her early roles was in The Tudors (2007–08). This was a historical drama where she played Mary Boleyn. In 2008, she acted as Lydia Bennet in the ITV series Lost in Austen. She also appeared in an episode of Midsomer Murders in 2003.
Perdita worked on other productions too. These include Stig of the Dump (2002) and Miss Potter (2006). She played a character called Kitten in an episode of Lewis in 2009. In 2011, she was in the TV miniseries The Promise.
She even acted with her sister Honeysuckle in some shows. They were in Goggle Eyes (1993) and The Rag Nymph (1997). In The Rag Nymph, Perdita played the younger version of her sister's character. She also starred in the horror films Prowl (2010) and As Above, So Below (2014).
In 2018, Perdita began her main role as Juliet Higgins in Magnum P.I.. This show was filmed in Hawaii. It first aired on CBS. After four seasons, NBC picked up the show in 2022. Perdita continued her role as Higgins. The series finished in January 2024 after five seasons.
