Geography of Perfection
Perfection is located in the state of Nevada. It sits in a very large valley called Perfection Valley. This valley has rocky cliffs to the north. There are also mountains to the east and west.
Only one main road leads into and out of Perfection. There is also an old jeep trail. The road goes south to the closest town, Bixby. Bixby is also a made-up town. It is about 30 miles away from Perfection.
History of Perfection
The town of Perfection has changed over time.
Early Days (Rejection)
In 1889, the town was known as Rejection. This was shown in the movie Tremors 4: The Legend Begins. Most of the businesses were linked to a silver mine. This mine was called the Bottom Dollar Mine. It was owned by a character named Hiram Gummer. There was also a general store called Chang's Market. It was run by Pyong Lien Chang and his wife. An inn was also in town, run by Christine Lord.
Perfection in the 1990s
By 1990, when the first Tremors movie came out, Perfection had very few businesses. Chang's Market was still there. It worked as both a general store and the post office. Walter Chang ran this store. The only other business was V & E Odd Jobs. This was an unofficial business run by handymen Valentine McKee and Earl Bassett.
Later Years
In 2001, as seen in Tremors 3: Back to Perfection, Jodi Chang ran Chang's Market. She was the niece of Walter Chang. A special tour called Desert Jack's Graboid Adventures started up. It was created by Jack Sawyer. A real estate company called Melco also began. Melvin Plugg started this company.
The most recent look at Perfection was in the 2003 Tremors TV show. Jodi Chang still ran Chang's Market. Tyler Reed managed Desert Jack's Graboid Adventures. He was a former NASCAR race car driver. Burt Gummer, a famous Graboid hunter, also started a survival school. It was called Burt Gummer's Survival School.
