Support for Endangered Languages
In 2020, Pertame became one of 20 languages chosen for special help. This support comes from the Priority Languages Support Project. First Languages Australia runs this project, with funding from the Department of Communications and the Arts. The main goal is to find and record languages that are in danger of disappearing. This includes languages that haven't been written down or recorded before, but still have living speakers.
