Peshkopi is a city in northeastern Albania. It is the capital of both Dibër District and Dibër County.
The city is about 187 kilometers (116 miles) away from Tirana. Tirana is the capital city of Albania. Peshkopi is also only 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the border of North Macedonia. Around 14,100 people live in Peshkopi.
Peshkopi is located to the east of the Black Drin river.
