Peter Macon is an American actor. He is famous for playing Lt. Commander Bortus in the TV show The Orville. He also played Raka in the movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

Early Life and Education
Peter Macon grew up in Minneapolis. He went to North Community High School. There, he enjoyed acting in school plays. His mother was a teacher, and his father was a truck driver.
After high school, Macon studied at the San Francisco Art Institute. He also attended the Yale School of Drama. At Yale, he earned a special degree in acting.
Macon married Jacquelyn Woods in 2018.
