Peter Mensah is a talented actor from Ghana and Britain. He was born on August 27, 1959. He is well-known for playing the character Oenomaus in the TV series Spartacus (from 2010 to 2013). You might also have seen him in big movies like Tears of the Sun, Hidalgo, The Incredible Hulk, 300, and Avatar. Peter Mensah now lives in Canada.

Early Life and Beginnings
Peter Mensah was born in Chiraa, Ghana. His family was very academic. His father was an architect engineer, and his mother was a writer. When he was young, Peter moved to Hertfordshire, England, with his family. He started learning martial arts when he was just six years old!
Even though he enjoyed drama in school, Peter first studied engineering. He came to Canada to work as an engineer for a company called British Gas. He helped develop gas fields in a place called Morecambe Bay.
Acting Career
Peter Mensah has been in many popular movies. These include Avatar, 300, Hidalgo, and The Incredible Hulk. He also appeared in a short film called The Seed. This film was made by Linkin Park's DJ, Joe Hahn.
He has also been in many TV shows. Some of these are Star Trek: Enterprise, Witchblade, and La Femme Nikita. He was also part of the cast for the series A Nero Wolfe Mystery and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Peter Mensah also used his voice and looks for a character named Sgt. Zach Hammond. This was for a video game called Dead Space.
One of his most famous roles was playing Oenomaus in the Spartacus series. He was even on the Spartacus Panel at Comic Con in 2009 and 2011. He also had a repeating role in the fifth season of True Blood.
He is also the voice of Predaking. Predaking is a dragon-like leader of the Predacons in the cartoon series Transformers: Prime.
