Peter Mensah is a talented actor from Ghana and Britain who is also based in Canada. He was born on August 27, 1959. Many people know him best for playing Oenomaus in the TV show Spartacus, which aired from 2010 to 2013. He has also appeared in many popular movies like Avatar, 300, and The Incredible Hulk. You might have also seen him in Tears of the Sun, Hidalgo, and the recent movie Gladiator II.

Early Life and Education
Peter Mensah was born in a place called Chiraa in Ghana. His family was very academic, meaning they loved to learn. When he was young, he moved to Hertfordshire, England, with his parents and two younger sisters. His father, Peter Osei Mensah, was an architect engineer, and his mother was a writer.
Peter Mensah started learning martial arts when he was only six years old. Even though he enjoyed drama in school, he first studied engineering. He even came to Canada as an engineer to help develop gas fields.
