Petrus "Peter" Wilhelmus Frederikus Nottet was a talented speed skater from the Netherlands. He was born on September 23, 1944. Peter became well-known for his skills on the ice. He competed in two Winter Olympic Games.
In 1964, Peter took part in the 1964 Winter Olympics. He competed in the 5000 metres speed skating event. He finished in 34th place during this competition.
Olympic Success in 1968
Four years later, Peter Nottet went to the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble. This was a very successful time for him. He won a bronze medal in the 5000 metres race. This was a huge achievement for Peter and his country.
He also competed in other events at the 1968 Olympics:
- He finished eighth in the 10000 metres race.
- He placed ninth in the 1500 metres event.
- In the 500 metres competition, he finished 30th.
The 5000 metres race in 1968 was a highlight of his career. It showed his dedication and hard work.
National and International Races
