Peter Parros (born November 11, 1960) is an American actor and writer for TV and movies. He has acted in plays, films, and many television shows. You might know him as Judge David Harrington from the show The Haves and the Have Nots on the Oprah Winfrey Network. He is also well-known for playing Dr. Ben Harris for almost ten years on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns.

His Early Life and Interests
Peter Parros was born in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in both Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. He became interested in acting and making movies after working for a company. This company made small models for special effects in films.
When he first started, he said his path was different from other actors. He wasn't focused on classic theater. Instead, he wanted to be an action star, like "the Black Arnold Schwarzenegger."
His Acting Career Journey
Peter Parros first started acting in plays. Later, he began to find success on TV and in movies. In 1984, he got his first TV role. He played Michael, Tootie's cousin, in the show The Facts of Life.
His first regular role on a TV series was in 1985. He joined Knight Rider as "RC3." His character, Reginald Cornelius III, drove the semi-truck and sometimes helped Michael Knight. He was in the fourth and final season of this popular show. Knight Rider has been shown in over 200 countries. It is very popular in places like Australia, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
After Knight Rider, Parros acted in several well-known American soap operas. He played Leo Baines on The Young and the Restless from 1986 to 1987. He also appeared on Santa Barbara in 1992. From 1994 to 1995, he was Dr. Ben Price on One Life to Live. His longest soap opera role was as Dr. Benjamin "Ben" Robert Harris on As the World Turns. He played this character from 1996 to 2005.
Parros also starred in The New Adam-12. This show was a spin-off of the police drama Adam-12. In it, he played Officer Gus Grant. From 1990 to 1991, he had a repeating role as firefighter Eddie Cooper on the CBS comedy The Family Man. Most recently, he has been in Tyler Perry’s hit show The Haves and the Have Nots on the OWN Channel.
Peter Parros has also made guest appearances on many other TV shows. These include Charles in Charge, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and New York Undercover.
