A Career in Sports Broadcasting
Peter Sellers started his exciting career in broadcasting in 1952. He worked for the New Zealand Broadcasting Service in Wellington. This company later became known as the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation.
In 1958, Peter moved to Dunedin. There, he became one of New Zealand's most important sports broadcasters. He was especially well-known for his radio work. He also hosted a sports show on television from the early 1960s until 1975. Peter Sellers retired from broadcasting in 1987.

In 1994, Peter Sellers received a special award called the Queen's Service Medal. He earned this medal for his great public service. Peter Sellers lived a long life and passed away in Dunedin on April 22, 2016, at the age of 94.
