Moses Barrett III (born July 22, 1973), known as Petey Pablo, is an American rapper. He is from Greenville, North Carolina. He became famous for his 2003 song, which was a big hit. It reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This song also sold over a million copies.

Before that, he signed with Jive Records. In 2001, he released "Raise Up". This song was a tribute to his hometown. It reached number 25 on the music charts. Jive Records released his first two albums. These were Diary of a Sinner: 1st Entry (2001) and Still Writing in My Diary: 2nd Entry (2004). His first album was even nominated for a Grammy Award.
