Sharing a name
Peyton List shares her name with another actress, Peyton List, who was born in 1998. The younger Peyton List uses "Peyton R. List" to help avoid confusion.
It's unusual for two actors to have the exact same professional name. However, this situation went unnoticed by the actors' union. The two actresses even appeared in the same scene once. This happened when the older List was on As the World Turns. Years later, they found themselves staying at the same hotel. They received each other's daily schedules and voicemails by mistake. Both actresses also voiced characters in the 2019 animated movie Batman: Hush.
