Philip Andrew Gartside (born April 27, 1952 – died February 10, 2016) was an English businessman. He was best known for being the chairman of Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

Joining Bolton Wanderers
He joined the board of directors at Bolton in April 1989. Later, in October 1999, he became the chairman of the club. At the same time, Sam Allardyce became the team's manager.
