Wembley Stadium is a famous football stadium in London, England. It was built between 2003 and 2007 on the same spot where the old Wembley Stadium used to stand. This huge stadium can hold 90,000 people!
A cool feature of the new Wembley is its giant arch. This arch was designed so it wouldn't cast a shadow over the field during games. It also helps hold up part of the stadium's roof. Wembley is a very important place for English football. It hosts the final matches of the FA Cup and the League Cup. The England national football team also plays their home games here.

More Than Just Football
Wembley Stadium isn't only for sports. It's also a popular place for big concerts and other events, just like the first Wembley Stadium was. Many famous music artists have performed there, including Metallica, Muse, and George Michael.
Two very special concerts were held at Wembley in 2007:
- The Concert for Diana took place on July 1, 2007. It was a tribute to Princess Diana.
- Six days later, on July 7, the London Live Earth concert was held there. This event aimed to raise awareness about climate change.
American Football at Wembley
Wembley Stadium also hosts American football games as part of the NFL International Series. This series brings American NFL teams to play games in London. The very first NFL game at Wembley was between the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins in 2007.
The Jacksonville Jaguars team even had a special agreement to play one home game in London each year from 2013 to 2020. If you go to an NFL game at Wembley, remember that there's a rule about bags: anything bigger than an A4-sized bag might cost you £10 to store!
