The Philips Odyssey series is a group of home video game consoles. These consoles were sold by a company called Philips. The Philips Odyssey series followed the Magnavox Odyssey series, which was made by a different company.

Magnavox used to make video game consoles. But in 1974, Philips bought Magnavox. After that, Philips continued to make consoles under their own name. These new consoles became known as the Philips Odyssey series.
