Pierre Djaka Njanka-Beyaka was born on March 15, 1975. He is a former professional football player from Cameroon. He played as a defender.

Pierre Njanka played for the Cameroon national team in some of the biggest football tournaments. He was part of the team for the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cups. He also played in the 2004 African Nations Cup. He played 47 games for his country and scored 2 goals.

One of his most famous moments was scoring a goal against Austria in the 1998 World Cup. Commentators said he "tore through the heart of the Austrian defence" before putting the ball into the top corner of the net.

Njanka also played for several clubs in France, including RC Strasbourg, CS Sedan, and FC Istres. These teams play in the French Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. While playing for Strasbourg, he helped his team win the 2001 Coupe de France Final in 2001. They won the match against Amiens SC after a penalty shootout.

He also had a chance to play for an English team called Sunderland in 2000. He played in a practice match for them. Later, he was almost going to join another English team, Portsmouth, in 2001, but a knee injury stopped that from happening.
