Pierre Djaka Njanka-Beyaka, born on March 15, 1975, is a former professional football player from Cameroon. He played as a defender, which means he helped protect his team's goal.

Pierre played for his country, Cameroon, in big tournaments. He was part of the team for the FIFA World Cup in 1998 and 2002. He also played in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2004. He played for Cameroon 47 times in total. In the 1998 World Cup, he scored an amazing goal against Austria. A commentator even said he "tore through the heart of the Austrian defence" before scoring!

Pierre Njanka's Club Career

Pierre played for several football clubs in France. These included RC Strasbourg, CS Sedan, and FC Istres. He played in France's top leagues, Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.

Winning the French Cup

While playing for Strasbourg, Pierre helped his team win a major trophy. This was the Coupe de France in the 2000–01 season. They won the final match against Amiens SC after a penalty shootout.

Playing in England

In July 2000, Pierre had a tryout with an English team called Sunderland. This team plays in the Premier League, which is England's top football league. He even played in a friendly match for them. Later, in 2001, he was going to join another English team, Portsmouth. However, a knee injury stopped this move from happening.
