Pilar Molina Llorente, born on December 11, 1943, is a Spanish writer who creates wonderful stories for children. She has received many important awards for her books. For example, in 2013, she won the Edebé Award for Children's and Young Adult Literature for her book Tesa.
Pilar studied Fine Arts at university. She also learned about music, languages (philology), and how people think (psychology). Besides writing her own books, she has also translated many children's and young adult stories from Italian and English into Spanish. Some of her books have beautiful pictures drawn by Fuencisla del Amo de la Iglesia.
