Pine is a small community in Washington Parish, Louisiana, in the United States. It is an unincorporated community, which means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town.

Pine is known for being the home of Pine Junior/Senior High School. This school teaches about 600 students from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. The community uses the same zip code as the nearby town of Franklinton.
Getting to Pine
You can reach Pine using two main roads. One is Louisiana Highway 62, which runs north and south. The other is Louisiana Highway 436, which goes east and west. These highways make it easy to travel in and out of the community.
Local Businesses
Pine has several small shops and businesses that are owned by local families. Most of these businesses are located around the intersection of Highway 62 and Highway 436. From there, they stretch north along Highway 62, heading towards the high school. In September 2010, the first and only larger chain store opened in Pine.
