Pinsoro facts for kids
Pinsoro is a small village located in northeastern Spain, near the city of Zaragoza. About 800 people live here. It is part of the larger area called Ejea de los Caballeros.
Pinsoro's History
Pinsoro was started in 1962 by families who moved there with help from the Spanish government. Since then, the village has grown a lot. Today, Pinsoro has many shops and supermarkets. It also has a medical center, two theaters, and a factory for farming products.
In May 2012, Pinsoro celebrated its 50th birthday!

If you visit Pinsoro, you will find places connected to nature and history.
- El Lagunazo de Moncayuelo: This is a beautiful lake just outside Pinsoro. Many different kinds of birds live here. You can also go camping and have picnics by the lake.
- "El Cierzo" Hotel: Located in the center of the village, this hotel offers rooms if you want to stay and rest.
- Pinsoro Church: This is the oldest building in the village, with a long history.
- Pinsoro Arch: In the past, this arch was the main entrance to the village.
- Village Bullring: A traditional place for local events.
- Sport facilities: Pinsoro has great places for sports. There is a swimming pool, a court for frontenis (a sport similar to tennis), and a large sports hall.

Pinsoro has its own observatory. This is a great place to look at the stars and planets. You can learn a lot about space and see amazing things in the night sky.
Fun Festivals
Pinsoro celebrates two main festivals each year. These are special times for the community.
- San Isidro Festivals: These festivals happen in the spring, usually around May 15th.
- San Mateo Festivals: These are the biggest and most important festivals in Pinsoro. They take place in the summer, around September 21st.
