Piotrowice is a small village located in east-central Poland. It is part of the Gmina Karczew area. This village is found within Otwock County in the Masovian Voivodeship.
Piotrowice is about 9 kilometers (6 miles) south of Karczew. It is also about 13 kilometers (8 miles) south of Otwock. The capital city, Warsaw, is about 31 kilometers (19 miles) to the south-east.
Location and Transport
Piotrowice is easy to reach by road. Two important roads pass through the village. These are Voivodeship Road 801 and National Road 50.
A Bit of History
From 1975 to 1998, Piotrowice was part of the Warsaw Voivodeship. A "voivodeship" is like a large region or province in Poland. After 1998, it became part of the Masovian Voivodeship.
