The Piper Aviation Museum is an exciting place where you can learn all about airplanes! It's located in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, right at the William T. Piper Memorial Airport. This museum is special because it focuses on the amazing history of the Piper Aircraft Corporation, a company famous for making many different kinds of planes.
The Museum's Story
The Piper Aviation Museum first started in the 1980s. For its first ten years, it was quite unusual. It was actually inside the back of a tractor trailer! It began as part of the Lock Haven Heisey Museum.
In 1997, the museum got a much bigger home. It bought the old engineering building from the Piper Aircraft company. This gave them lots of space for their exhibits. The museum opened even more exhibit areas in 2022, so there's always something new to see!

The museum has many different types of airplanes on display. These planes show how Piper Aircraft designed and built various models over the years. You can see some famous planes and even some unique ones.
