Pirkko Mannola has appeared in more than 50 movies and television shows. Her acting career started in 1959. One of her films, Kaks' tavallista Lahtista, was even shown at the 10th Berlin International Film Festival.
In 1958, Pirkko won the Miss Finland beauty contest. Besides acting, she also had a successful career as a singer. In the early 1960s, she was very popular in Germany.
