Pokémon Adventures is a super popular manga series. It's based on the fun Pokémon video games you might know! In Japan, it's called Pocket Monsters SPECIAL.

Who Creates Pokémon Adventures?
The stories for Pokémon Adventures are written by Hidenori Kusaka. The drawings were first done by Mato for the first 9 books.
Later, Satoshi Yamamoto took over as the artist because Mato was not well. Satoshi Yamamoto has been drawing the series ever since!
Where Can You Read It?
This manga has been translated into many languages around the world.
English Editions
In North America, VIZ Media publishes the English version. They started releasing the series again in 2009.
In Southeast Asia, a company called Chuang Yi translates Pokémon Adventures into English. They continue to release new books even today.
Other Language Editions
In China, Jilin Fine Arts and VIZ Media Shanghai Branch have translated the manga into Chinese.
In Taiwan, Ching Win publishes the series. They translate it into Mandarin Chinese and release it in their monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine.
