Polonca Kovač, whose real name is Magdalena Kovač, was born on February 19, 1937. She is a famous Slovene writer who creates amazing books for children. She also works as a translator, which means she changes books from one language to another. Polonca Kovač has translated many stories for young readers. She was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Polonca Kovač studied literature at the University of Ljubljana. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked as a teacher.
