Poochini's Yard (also known as Poochini) is an animated TV show. It was made in America, Germany, the Netherlands, and Canada. The show first aired around the world in 2000. However, it didn't start showing in the United States until September 1, 2002.
The story is about a dog named Poochini. He has black ears and grey fur. Poochini runs away from his home after his rich owner passes away. He then gets caught by the dog pound. After that, an average American family adopts him.
Even though a company in San Francisco called Wild Brain helped create the show, Poochini wasn't shown in the United States for over two years. Another company from Munich, Germany, called EM.TV, helped produce and share the show internationally. Poochini was based on a short film from 1999 called A Dog Cartoon, which won awards.
The series made 26 episodes in total. The last episode aired in the United States on March 1, 2003. It was shown on different TV channels and on The WB 100+ Station Group. Dave Marshall and Dave Thomas directed the show. A famous background artist named Maurice Noble also worked on the series. He helped with the design and colors.
