Jeff Bennett is a super talented American voice actor. He's the person behind many voices you've probably heard in your favorite cartoons and movies! He's famous for bringing characters like Johnny Bravo to life. He also voiced Dexter and Dee Dee's Dad in Dexter's Laboratory. You might also know him as Ace from The Powerpuff Girls, or The Man With the Yellow Hat in Curious George. He even voiced Kowalski in The Penguins of Madagascar!

Jeff Bennett has won some cool awards for his voice work. In 2012, he won an Annie Award for his role as Kowalski. Then, in 2016, he won an Emmy Award for his work in Transformers: Rescue Bots. He is known as one of the best voice actors around!

Early Life and Training

Jeff Bennett was born in 1962 in Houston, Texas. He loved acting from a young age. He trained on stage at the Alley Theatre in Houston. In 1990, he moved to California with his family. This move helped him start his amazing career in voice acting.

His Voice Acting Journey

Jeff Bennett's first voice acting job was for a character named Horace "I.Q." Boothroyd the Third in James Bond Jr.. After that, many more exciting roles came his way.

Famous Cartoon Voices

He became the voice of Brooklyn in Gargoyles. He also voiced Petrie in The Land Before Time series starting from the second movie. Kids also know him as Dexter's Dad in Dexter's Laboratory.

In 1995, he got one of his most famous roles: the main character in Johnny Bravo. For Johnny Bravo, Jeff used a voice similar to Elvis Presley. Johnny Bravo became a TV series in 1997 and was very popular until 2004. It even earned Jeff an Annie Award nomination!

He also voiced many characters in the funny animated series Freakazoid!. Some of these were The Huntsman, Cave Guy, and Candle Jack.

Jeff Bennett continued to voice many characters that kids love. He was Drixenol "Drix" Koldriliff in Ozzy and Drix. He also voiced Clay Bailey on Xiaolin Showdown. You might remember him as Raj on Camp Lazlo.

Since 2006, he has been the voice of The Man With the Yellow Hat in the PBS Kids TV series Curious George. This show won several Daytime Emmys for being an outstanding animated program. He also voiced Kowalski in The Penguins of Madagascar.
