The Story of the Movie
In this adventure, Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley are living happily with Lilo and Nani on Earth. But there's a big secret: Jumba secretly brought all 625 of his other alien experiments with him! He had turned them off, so they were just little pods.
Suddenly, Captain Gantu, who used to work with Jumba, shows up. He's now working for a new villain named Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel. Gantu's mission is to find all of Jumba's experiments. He even captures Jumba to make him tell where they are hidden!
Now, it's up to Lilo and Stitch to save Stitch's "ohana" (family) from being used for bad things. During the movie, two of Jumba's experiments get activated:
- Experiment 221, "Sparky": This experiment can create huge electric surges.
- Experiment 625: This experiment has all of Stitch's amazing powers, but he's super lazy! He's mostly known for making really good sandwiches.
Making the Movie
The movie was almost called Lilo & Stitch: A New Ohana. But later, the creators decided to put only Stitch's name in the title. This was also true for the TV show that followed, which was planned to be called Stitch! The Series.
In the end, the movie and the TV show got slightly different names. The name Stitch! (with the exclamation point) was later used for an anime TV series that came out five years after this movie.
