Kevin Michael Richardson (born October 25, 1964) is an American actor. He is famous for his very deep voice. He often voices bad guys in cartoons and video games.

You might know his voice from many popular shows and movies. He was Goro in the Mortal Kombat movie. He also voiced Captain Gantu in the Lilo & Stitch series. He was Bulkhead from Transformers: Prime. He has also voiced characters in shows like Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, American Dad!, The Simpsons, and Futurama.

Richardson is well-known for playing the Joker in The Batman. For this role, he was nominated for two awards. He also voiced Trigon, Mammoth, and See-More in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!. He was Antauri in Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!. He played Oroku Saki/the Shredder in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show. He also voiced Stump Smash and Tree Rex in the Skylanders video games.

Kevin Michael Richardson was born on October 25, 1964. He grew up in the Bronx, New York City. He went to Syracuse University and earned a degree in theater in 1988.

He started his acting career in New York City. He appeared in many TV commercials. His first professional acting job was for an AT&T commercial. Later, he moved to Los Angeles. Because of his deep and strong voice, he often got roles as villains.

In 1995, Richardson got his first voice role. He played Mayor Tilton in The Mask animated TV show. He also voiced Captain Gantu in Lilo & Stitch. He was Shnitzel in the Chowder pilot episode. He also voiced Goro in the Mortal Kombat movie.

He has voiced characters in many video games too. These include Sarevok in the Baldur's Gate series. He was Jolee Bindo in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. He also voiced Crunch Bandicoot in the Crash Bandicoot games. He was Chairman Drek in Ratchet & Clank.

In 2004, he became the first Black actor to voice the Joker. This was for The Batman animated series. He was nominated for an Emmy Award twice for this role. In 2005, he voiced Trigon in Teen Titans.

He also voiced Bishop for Wolverine and the X-Men in 2008. Later, he was Nick Fury on The Super Hero Squad Show. He also voiced Tyro in Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Richardson often plays characters that sound like comedian Bill Cosby. He did this on Family Guy and The Boondocks. His most common role on Family Guy is Jerome.
