The Story of Lilo & Stitch
The movie starts with an evil alien scientist named Dr. Jumba Jookiba. He creates many strange creatures, which is against the rules of his planet. One of his experiments, named "626," is very mischievous and escapes. Experiment 626 flies his spaceship all the way to Earth.
On Earth, a young human girl named Lilo lives in Hawaii. Lilo's parents have passed away, so her older sister Nani takes care of her. Lilo goes to an animal shelter and decides to adopt Experiment 626, thinking he is a dog. She names him "Stitch."
Stitch becomes Lilo's best friend. Lilo tries to teach Stitch how to be good and kind. She even uses music by Elvis Presley to help him learn. Stitch also learns a very important phrase: "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten." This phrase becomes a big part of their story. Later, alien officials find Stitch on Earth and try to take him and Lilo away. But in the end, they decide to let Stitch stay with Lilo and her family in Hawaii.
