Poochini (also known as Poochini's Yard) is a fun cartoon show about a dog named Poochini. It first aired around the world on February 2, 2000. However, kids in the United States didn't get to see it until September 7, 2002.

The story is about Poochini, a grey dog with black ears, who is a Hound mix. He lives a rich life until his owner passes away. After that, Poochini runs away from home. He ends up getting caught by the dog pound. Luckily, an average American family adopts him, and his adventures begin!

About the Show

Even though the show was made by a company called Wild Brain in San Francisco, it took over two years for Poochini to be shown in the United States. The show was also made by EM.TV from Munich, Germany.

Poochini is based on an award-winning short cartoon from 1999 called A Dog Cartoon. The series was directed by Dave Marshall and Dave Thomas. A famous background artist named Maurice Noble also helped with the design and colors of the show.

Poochini had 26 episodes in total. The last episode aired in the United States on March 1, 2003.
